At over 10,000 hectares, Weerribben-Wieden National Park is the largest continuous bog in Northwest Europe. Belvédère Museum is located at the edge of the historical forested landscape park Oranjewoud. The museum is the home of Frisian and North-Netherlands artists and strives to display their work in relation to the work of kindred spirits from the Netherlands and abroad. The museum has two large exposition halls and a central museum cafe that offers a view of the Oranjewoud Estate, the former country house of the Dutch royal family.
