Your holiday at Vakantiepark Giethoorn

The quaint village Giethoorn in Overijssel is sometimes called ‘Venice of the North’. In this village you will mostly find waterways; the ideal place for water enthusiasts! Giethoorn is part of National Park Weerribben-Wieden and consists of authentic farms, kilometres of canals and dozens of bridges. You won’t find any cars, so the best way to explore the village is on foot, by bike or by boat. From february to october, you will have your own electric sloop at your disposal during your stay (excl. Tiny House 2 and Lepelaar hotelchalet 4). If you are booking one of our group accommodations, you can go out by boat all year round, weather permitting. In the centre you can find nice little shops, several museums and different restaurants and brasseries. The area around Giethoorn is a true water sports paradise. Apart from dinghy sailing and sailing, there are also plenty of opportunities for surfing, canoeing and aqua-dubbing. Doesn’t that sound like great fun?
