Fancy a day of action on and in the water? Then Brouwersdam is the place to be! Here you can find windsurfing, sailing and many more water sports activities. No experience? No problem; you can also take lessons.

You can spend hours on the 17-kilometre-long sandy beach of Renesse. Get a breath of fresh air during a walk, build sandcastles with the kids or read a relaxing book in the warm sunshine. After a wonderful day on the beach, you can enjoy a snack and a drink at one of the many beach bars. Renesse beach has the international Blue Flag environmental award. The bathing water is of excellent quality and the beach is kept very clean.

Visit the lively coastal village of Renesse, packed with sunny terraces, cosy shops and numerous restaurants and cafés. Events for young and old are organised during the summer months.

A ramp of nearly 8 meters high with three slides and a landing that guarantees a refreshing dip in the Grevelingenmeer ... With the special Sunset Water Jump Clinic you can even enjoy the sunset while jumping.

Museumhaven Zeeland is a museum at two locations. Outside, in the old medieval harbour of Zierikzee, you can view a beautiful fleet of ships up close. The indoor location offers ships that are being restored.

Discover the beautiful nature reserves on Goeree-Overflakkee in a Land Rover 110 (7 pers.). Spot birds, roe deer, seals and heck cattle. Get off at unique spots along the way, to look for game with binoculars or to enjoy a nice picnic. You can depart from Stellendam, Ouddorp or Herkingen.

With Schotsman Water Sports Centre you can (learn to) water ski or wakeboard on the water ski cable railway. You are pulled around by a ski tow across a distance of 820 metres per round. The speed is around 30 km/h. Children can enjoy the special “kids clinics waterskiën” on the mini cable ski railway. You can also rent canoes, stand-up paddle, windsurf and flyboard. There is a surf shop with recreational clothing and a restaurant. With Schotsman Water Sports Centre no one should be bored!

For bird lovers and/or birdwatchers Plan Tureluur is a site not to be missed! Thousands, sometimes tens of thousands of waders, seagulls, geese and ducks close together in a wonderful brackish marsh. It is not for nothing that the south coast of Schouwen is also called Zeeland’s bird boulevard.

In this authentic school building from 1845, many generations enjoyed Burgh’s education. In the old classroom, on the playground and in the herb garden you go back in time a 100 years. Behind the showcases are several original attributes the students and teachers previously used during the lessons.

Pay a visit to a sick seal! Learn how seals are rescued and cared for at the A Seal shelter for seals. rnrnYou can also learn all about the habitat of seals and enjoy regularly organised exhibitions. Come visit the seals and help lift their spirits. After all, everyone deserves a little extra attention when they’re sick. At Kinderboerderij De Punt can admire and pet all kinds of animals. There are a special hugging stables where you can cuddle with guinea pigs and rabbits. In need of a snack and a drink? You can make yourself comfortable in the lunchroom next to the petting zoo while the children play some more in the adjacent playground.

Near the park you will find the Zuiderdiep swimming pool. Here you can splash a wonderful day and it is always fun for young and old in the water. The perfect refreshment!
